Happy (Almost) B-day Zooey

In a couple of weeks, it'll be my Ipod, Zooey, (a name I gave to it for a reason unbeknownst to me)first b-day. Xmas day to be exact. This is the day I got her, but maybe she was constructed in the summer or something, so I might have missed her actual b-day. Anyway, I'm worried because the lifespan of the Ipod is typically a year. I keep hearing how they die. I don't want Zooey to die! If she does, first I will bury her in the backyard, then I will immediately go to the Apple Store on Michigan Ave and purchase (if i can find the funds) a new and improved one (sorry Zooey). Zooey and I have been through a lot together this year. We traveled to L.A twice, NY once...Ohio several times. She made the 5 hr trip go by fast, especially being plugged into my itrip. All those times she accompanied me on my walks around the city, to the lake, up and down streets...All the times I laid in bed listening to her, comforting me when I was upset. I even fell asleep listening to her a few times, which gave me a headache the next morning and isn't recommended. All the times I secretly danced around my room listening to her...And those hundreds of hours I spent listening to her at work doing dull data entry. She made the day a little better. And I remember the times I almost lost her...the time I accidentally dropped her in Christine's bag...the times I left her at work. Those were difficult hours for me because I actually had to walk around and acknowledge the beggars on the street. I'm sorry Zooey for all the times I dropped you. Even though she's tucked away in a leather case, she still has a lot of scratches and dents on her. Ah, the memories. I love Zooey. What did I do without her? And to think I never wanted an Ipod in the first place because I thought they were trendy.

Happy Bday Zooey, I hope you'll still be with me next year.
